Conntinuum is a derivation of two important concepts that are essential in building long-lasting, productive, mutually-beneficial, and trusted client-consulting relationships - maintaining positive control and operating as one, aligned team.
Conn comes from the Conning Tower, a raised platform on a ship from which an Officer in Charge can conn - conduct or control - the vessel. For consulting services to be successful, it requires multiple people from multiple organizations to maintain control and visibility of their respective areas of responsibility. With Conntinuum, we enable those leaders to “take the conn” for their organizations.
For professional services to be successful, and valuable for all stakeholders, the participating teams must strive to operate not as disparate organizations, but rather as a singular, coherent whole characterized by each individual element excelling at that function which they do best. This collection of teams, playing off of each other’s strengths, is the definition of a continuum.
